Gift Aid Declaration Scanning - now you can make sure that you can find all Gift Aid Declarations and that they are all right, too !

The two main headaches associated with Gift Aid Decrataions are

  • Can I find them?

  • Are they correct

Whilst most scanning will satisfy the first question are you sure that your Gift Aid Declarations are indeed compliant?. In most cases, your scanning will result in three traffic light “piles”

  • Scanned documents that are Correct -“Green” pile
  • Scanned documents that are Incorrect - “Red” pile
  • Scanned documents that are Unsure  - “Amber” pile

It is now up to you to decide what to do with the Red pile, and how to correct the Amber pile – if indeed these can be corrected.

Our scanning is not a just a capture of the image and a pass/fail decision on the result.  In addition to providing a storable, retrievable and readable image, we review each image from a Gift Aid perspective, and where it does not totally meet with HMRC’s requirements, we provide you with a report on what steps need to be taken to ensure that Gift Aid is only claimed on valid Gift Aid Declarations
